Our Mission

The Fulton County Humane Society (FCHS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit. We are NOT a government facility and do not receive tax dollars to fund our agency. We are funded by generous donations from people and businesses, adoption fees, fundraisers and by applying for grants.

We work to help animals that cannot help themselves by focusing our efforts on rescuing the abused, neglected and unwanted… We care for their bodies with nutritious foods, vaccines and medical services. We care for their minds by giving them time to decompress and build them up with activities with other animals and humans to socialize them. We care for their hearts and future by working to place them in a forever family that matches their personality and needs.

What We Do

  • We are a compassionate, animal-advocacy organization established in 1981 to provide Fulton County and it’s surrounding areas with resources to:
  • Rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused, neglected, or unwanted animals.
  • Educate our community on responsible pet ownership as well as support families with pets in need.
  • Promote spay/neuter to prevent further overpopulation.
  • Aggressively control animal abuse and neglect.

We Are Their Voice!
